Primary education is the foundation of education life. Someone, who can complete this stage of education level with enough competencies, he could go ahead far away. He could go through all the next levels of educations smoothly. We know that education enlightens human lives. It changes a human being to choose the right career of his future life. He who gets education, can change whole of his life styles, that can`t do a man without education. It is education that develops a human beings` mind, body and souls, harmoniously. What’s the difference between the known and unknown? A man of knowledge is much more valuable than who is not. So, every human being should have at least primary education. He should have to have the capacity of reading, writing, speaking and listening correctly as well as with understanding. These four skills make someone perfect in language skills. He has to have the knowledge of English Language, too; as it is a must for life skills in both home and abroad. He must have the knowledge of numeric and practical knowledge of problem-solving competency of using numbers in day-to-day life. A human being should know the importance of science and scientific discoveries as well as the contribution of science in the development of human civilization. He also should know about his surroundings like; social, political, economy, history. People, nature, culture and so on. He has to know about the religious ethics, rituals, rules, regulations, behaviors, manners, etiquettes, laws on family, society and states. Above all, in this age of High-tech and democracy, a human being must be civilized. This is the time; one must be knowledge-based, not age-old traditional one. To avail all the modern facilities and avoiding all the hindrances in life one must has to have at least primary education. In this series of writing on primary education, I would like to sketch out all about it through various ways, like interviewing with old and expert teachers, Officers, Public Figures, Students, guardians and so on. In Bangladesh we have been working with primary education system in traditional way. We think that Children of school going age would go to school, learn, and achieve outcomes, competencies and other required knowledge at primary level. In fact, it is an art as well as science and it doesn’t come to someone easily. It is to acquire and achieve through hard-working and perseverance. I am telling about quality primary education and education for life. We have almost become successful of taking all the school-aged children into school, but we couldn’t have still reached the goals of stopping drop outs and completion of primary education-circle. To achieve the goals the government and the Non-government Organizations as well as International donor agencies have taken various programs. A number of steps have been being implemented now and would be in near future. Allah/God knows whether the programs would bring expected success or not. However, I feel that at this moment, we all should focus the primary education related activities with a serious and keen interest and should be popularized, published and people-oriented.

Steps Should be Taken:

1. We all have to be media-friendly and should have to take initiative to publish all the activities of Primary education department of all levels.
2. We have to build up a strong social-network through Face book, Twitter etc.
3. We have to involve the locality and community in our each and every activity.
4. Officers-teachers-guardians and students have to be united and act accordingly in their respective areas.
5. We have to publicize and advertise all our activities to all.
